Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Fort Dodge, Iowa

This per diem opportunity is for an outpatient pharmacist to provide PRN coverage at a healthcare facility. The position requires flexibility for scheduled shifts in June and July, offering support primarily in prescription verification and patient counseling.

Schedule:

• June 12: 8 AM - 5 PM
• June 18-19 (no technician on site): 8 AM - 5 PM
• July 17: 1 PM - 5 PM
• July 31: 8 AM - 5 PM

Location: Fort Dodge, IA

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify low volume prescriptions, approximately 40 per day
• Counsel patients regarding their medications and treatments
• Perform typical outpatient pharmacy duties ensuring accuracy and compliance

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Iowa Pharmacist License
• Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings preferred

Additional Information: Housing and mileage expenses are reimbursed as a pass-through.
