Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Fort Dodge, IA

This opportunity seeks a skilled outpatient pharmacist to provide per diem coverage in a supportive environment with a manageable workload. Ideal candidates will have experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings and hold an active Iowa pharmacist license.

Location: Fort Dodge, IA
Job Type: Per diem (PRN) coverage
Schedule:

• June 12th: 8 AM – 5 PM
• June 18th-19th (no technician): 8 AM – 5 PM
• July 17th: 1 PM – 5 PM
• July 31st: 8 AM – 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify low-volume prescriptions (approximately 40 per day) with accuracy and efficiency
• Provide patient counseling to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Perform typical outpatient pharmacy duties including medication dispensing and inventory management

Qualifications:

• Current Iowa Pharmacist License
• Previous experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings
• Strong attention to detail and a patient-focused approach
