A specialty pharmacy managing a local health services pharmacy in Fort Wayne, IN seeks an experienced Staff Pharmacist for per diem coverage. This opportunity offers a chance to onboard in advance and provide critical pharmacy services for one week with direct support from pharmacy technicians.

Schedule:

• Monday, March 30: 8 AM - 5 PM
• Tuesday, March 31: 8 AM - 5 PM
• Wednesday, April 1: 8 AM - 5 PM
• Thursday, April 2: 8 AM - 5 PM
• Friday, April 3: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities:

• Manage typical retail pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate dispensing and patient safety
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to optimize workflow and efficiency
• Utilize the New Leaf system to support pharmacy activities
• Provide excellent patient care and counseling as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana pharmacist license in hand
• Experience with retail pharmacy duties preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and environments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Additional Information:

• Training will be provided and compensated prior to starting on March 30
• Preference for candidates local to the area, though travelers are welcome with added travel reimbursements
