Mail Order Staff Pharmacist in Fountain Hills, AZ

A dynamic mail order pharmacy located near Scottsdale is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role requires a licensed pharmacist to serve as a checking and verifying pharmacist, ensuring accuracy and compliance in medication dispensing within a fast-paced environment.

Location: Fountain Hills, AZ (Commute to Scottsdale site essential)

Schedule:

• Flexible shifts between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and/or 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Possible Saturday coverage
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately check, verify, count, dispense, and label medications
• Supervise pharmacy technicians effectively
• Maintain a safe, clean pharmacy environment adhering to Arizona Board of Pharmacy standards
• Complete 60-80 medication checks per hour while ensuring high accuracy
• Follow all policies and procedures to maintain compliance and patient safety

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Active Arizona Pharmacist License
• Ability to stand and remain on feet throughout shifts
