Mail Order Staff Pharmacist - Fountain Hills, Arizona

A growing mail order pharmacy is seeking two detail-oriented pharmacists for checking and verifying duties at a busy site near Fountain Hills, AZ. This is a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity requiring flexibility in shift hours and a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately count, dispense, and label medications in compliance with Arizona Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Check and verify prescriptions, maintaining a pace of 60-80 checks per hour
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure a safe, clean work environment
• Follow policies and procedures closely to maintain regulatory standards
• Provide excellent communication with team members and contribute to a positive workplace atmosphere

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid Arizona pharmacist license required
• Proven ability to maintain accuracy under pressure and adapt to changing workflows
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Capability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable work ethic

Schedule:

• Flexible shifts between 8:00 AM–4:00 PM and/or 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Possible Saturday coverage required
