Staff Pharmacist | Fresno, California

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed California pharmacist ready to contribute to a dynamic healthcare setting. The role involves dispensing prescription medications, monitoring patient compliance, and ensuring all medications meet legal and clinical standards. You will manage confidential patient records accurately, advise on medication use and interactions, and provide valuable consultations on both prescription and over-the-counter products.

Key responsibilities also include educating patients on medical device use, compounding medications, and preparing sterile solutions in accordance with established protocols. Supervisory duties over pharmacy technicians and clerks are part of the position, along with maintaining pharmaceutical inventory and collaborating with healthcare professionals to resolve drug-related issues.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current California Pharmacist license required
• Retail pharmacist experience welcomed; training will be provided to qualified candidates
• Ability to supervise pharmacy staff effectively
• Proficient in patient consultation and medication management
• Skilled in compounding and sterile preparation techniques
• Strong communication skills to work alongside healthcare teams

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• No weekend shifts

Location: Fresno, CA

This 12-week contract to hire position allows for immediate start and offers a chance to transition into a permanent role. Candidates must be able to work flexible hours within the scheduled shift and demonstrate a commitment to patient care and pharmacy operations.
