This opportunity is for a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist position in a dynamic retail and long-term care pharmacy setting. The role focuses on delivering excellent pharmaceutical care while supporting daily operations with the assistance of a full team of pharmacy technicians and register staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and process 150-200 prescriptions daily with accuracy and efficiency
- Administer immunizations to patients in accordance with certification and protocol
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service
- Utilize Computer Rx system for prescription management and documentation
Schedule:
- May 9th: 7:45 AM – 6:15 PM
- May 10th: 12:45 PM – 6:15 PM
Qualifications:
- Current, valid Texas Pharmacist license (RPh)
- Immunization certification required
- Experience working in retail pharmacy environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
