Staff Pharmacist in Garryowen, MT

This opportunity seeks a skilled pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care at a Tribal Hospital in Montana, approximately one hour from Billings. The role involves working in a dynamic healthcare environment catering to both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Schedule:

• 4 days per week, 10 hours per day
• Day shifts

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and safely for inpatient and outpatient settings
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
• Utilize RPMS (Resource and Patient Management System) for accurate patient records and pharmacy operations
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations, maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage
• Manage inventory and maintain pharmacy supplies

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist license from any state
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy settings preferred
• Proficiency or willingness to learn RPMS software
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Cultural sensitivity and understanding of community health dynamics preferred
