An opportunity is available for a skilled Staff Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position offers a unique week-on, week-off schedule with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, providing work-life balance while delivering quality service.

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Counsel patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
• Maintain thorough records of prescriptions and patient profiles
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication plans
• Monitor inventory levels and order pharmaceutical supplies as needed
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist license in the state of Virginia
• Prior experience as a staff pharmacist or in a similar RX pharmacist role
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, HIPAA regulations, and medication therapies
