Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Glendale, Arizona

A growing pharmacy group in Glendale, AZ is building a dedicated team of 2-3 per diem pharmacists to support various locations. This role is designed for licensed pharmacists seeking flexible, part-time opportunities to cover call-outs, vacations, and volume spikes. Typical pharmacy operations run Monday through Saturday, generally from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some stores closing at 8 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent pharmaceutical care in retail settings with prescription volumes averaging 100-125 per day
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians at most locations; some smaller sites require pharmacists to manage independently
• Participate in comprehensive training sessions to ensure readiness across pharmacy locations, including one initial 8-hour training shift
• Utilize QS1 software effectively during daily operations
• Administer immunizations and maintain BLS certification compliance

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license with immunization privileges and current BLS card
• At least 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong ability to work independently in pharmacist-only environments when necessary
• Flexibility to work 2-4 days per week as needed for coverage
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
