Location:

  • Glendale, CA (Los Angeles County health system facility)

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts
  • Flexible availability required for primarily 1st and 2nd shifts; occasional 3rd shifts possible

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe and effective pharmaceutical care to hospitalized patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Conduct medication reviews, prepare and dispense medications accurately
  • Participate in clinical rounds and contribute to patient care plans
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
  • Pass a one-time competency exam before onboarding, followed by background clearance

Qualifications:

  • PharmD with active pharmacy license
  • PGY-1 residency strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years inpatient hospital experience or internship experience in hospital pharmacy acceptable
  • Ability to work all shifts as needed
  • Strong clinical knowledge and patient-focused approach
  • Success passing a mandatory competency exam and background check required
