Job Type: Contract, ongoing part-time
Schedule:
- Mix of days and evenings
- Rotating weekends
Responsibilities:
- Execute full scope long term care pharmacy duties including PV1 (preparation verification) and PV2 (final verification) tasks
- Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily operations
- Perform multi-dose/blister packing accurately
- Compound, check, and verify sterile and non-sterile medications, including IVs and TPNs
- Use pharmacy systems such as Frameworks; prior experience preferred but training available
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Current and valid Michigan pharmacist license in good standing
- Prior long term care experience strongly preferred, including PV1 and PV2 responsibilities
- Skilled in sterile and non-sterile compounding and medication verification
- Ability to supervise pharmacy support personnel effectively
- Experience with Frameworks pharmacy software is highly desirable
