Staff Pharmacist - Granite City, Illinois

A Staff Pharmacist position is available for a contract role offering approximately 24-30 hours per week in a pharmacy setting. The schedule includes pharmacy operating hours with shifts primarily from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Sundays designated for emergency orders only. On-call hours on Sundays run from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with additional compensation for on-call coverage.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Illinois
• PharmD preferred
• Experience with PioneerRx pharmacy software preferred
• Pharmacy staff experience with skills in retail filling, checking, verifying, and patient counseling

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions
• Provide medication counseling to patients to ensure safe and effective use
• Manage typical retail pharmacy tasks to maintain workflow efficiency
• Respond to emergency orders during on-call shifts on Sundays
