Staff Pharmacist - Granite City, IL

This pharmacy role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise as a Staff Pharmacist in a supportive environment. Working under a contract, you will engage in essential pharmacy operations with a manageable weekly schedule.

Schedule:

• 24-30 hours per week
• Monday to Friday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
• Saturday: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
• Sunday: Emergency orders only (on-call 7:00 am – 7:00 pm; compensated at $8/hr while on call)

Key Responsibilities include:

• Accurately filling, checking, and verifying prescriptions
• Providing thorough patient counseling and education
• Managing typical retail pharmacy operations
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Illinois Pharmacy License (required)
• Pharmacist Doctorate (PharmD) preferred
• Experience with PioneerRx software is highly desired

This position allows you to deliver patient-centered service while maintaining a balanced workload. On-call responsibilities on Sundays are compensated separately, recognizing your valuable support during critical times.
