Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Graniteville, SC

This opportunity seeks a skilled Staff Pharmacist to support a retail pharmacy environment. The position operates primarily during daytime hours, providing essential pharmacy services to the community while collaborating with pharmacy technicians who assist with order entry using RX30.

Location: Graniteville, SC
Job Type: Per Diem

Schedule:

• Weekdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (notably June 4-6 and June 8-11)
• Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely in compliance with applicable pharmacy laws and regulations
• Counsel patients on proper medication usage, side effects, and precautions
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure timely order entry and prescription processing
• Maintain a high level of customer service professionalism in a retail setting
• Monitor inventory levels and support pharmacy operations to meet daily script volumes averaging 189-220 prescriptions

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist holding a valid South Carolina pharmacy license
• Previous experience in retail pharmacy practice required
• Proficiency with RX30 pharmacy software preferred
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment
