Staff Pharmacist - Greensboro, North Carolina

A specialty retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a contract position with the potential for direct hire. This role involves working in an environment that includes sterile and non-sterile compounding, offering a dynamic and specialized practice setting.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• One-hour lunch break
• Duration: 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and provide counseling to patients
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding following established protocols
• Utilize the order entry system PK (similar to QS1); training will be provided
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active North Carolina pharmacy license
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience
• Experience in sterile compounding is a strong plus
• Experience in non-sterile compounding is also desirable
• Ability to work effectively in a specialized retail pharmacy environment
• Willingness to sign agreements as part of employment requirements
