DIRECT HIRE - Pharmacist In Charge
Direct Hire opportunity for a Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) focused on retail/community pharmacy operations. This role extends beyond traditional dispensing duties, emphasizing regulatory compliance, specialty pharmacy, and 340B operations while collaborating with pharmacy leadership, legal, and compliance teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day retail/community pharmacy operations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and pharmacy-specific regulatory requirements
- Manage pharmacy operations where approximately 50% of business involves 340B program compliance
- Provide guidance on 340B regulatory adherence and pharmacy workflow
- Navigate Medicare and Medicaid billing, payer regulations, and compliance matters
- Support ACHC and URAC accreditation standards including survey readiness, documentation, policy development, and maintenance of ongoing compliance
- Review, update, and assist in developing pharmacy policies and procedures
- Identify operational and regulatory gaps and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate closely with pharmacy leadership and legal/compliance teams
- Facilitate specialty pharmacy processes and associated regulatory requirements
- Perform pharmacist duties including dispensing support when required
- Contribute to operational improvements and workflow optimization
Qualifications:
Active New York Pharmacist license
Solid experience in retail/community pharmacy settings
Expertise in specialty pharmacy operations
Deep understanding of 340B pharmacy program compliance and management
Proficient in Medicare and Medicaid regulations and billing practices
Knowledge of ACHC and URAC pharmacy accreditation standards
Experienced in regulatory and compliance issues relevant to outpatient pharmacy operations
Skilled in policy review and development within pharmacy practice
Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
Preferred Experience:
Prior involvement with ACHC and/or URAC accreditation surveys and maintenance
Experience within health-system outpatient pharmacy environments
Background managing 340B program oversight
