This opportunity is for experienced pharmacists seeking per diem work within a well-managed community health center pharmacy. The facility requires reliable pharmacist coverage with the potential to build a lasting relationship for ongoing staffing needs.

Location:

• Community health center pharmacy in Hammond, LA area
• Slightly East of Baton Rouge (Livingston, LA)

Schedule:

• Per Diem
• Dates: November 20 through December 31
• Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescriptions in accordance with healthcare regulations and pharmacy protocols
• Provide excellent patient counseling and medication guidance
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare providers to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care
• Maintain thorough documentation and uphold pharmacy safety standards
• Operate dispensing software (familiarity with Rx30 preferred but not required)

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with active Louisiana pharmacy licensure
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred, ideally part-time retail pharmacists
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently in a community pharmacy setting
