Retail Staff Pharmacist in Hanover, PA

A direct hire opportunity is available for a full-time pharmacist position in a retail pharmacy setting located in York, PA. This role offers a dynamic schedule with varied hours and the chance to contribute meaningfully to patient health and pharmacy operations.

Schedule:

• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Days and afternoons shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to manage inventory levels by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand and optimize profits.
• Prepare and dispense prescribed medications accurately, including weighing, measuring, and mixing drugs and medical compounds. Provide guidance to self-medicating patients and dispense non-prescription medications.
• Perform patient immunizations regularly to support community health initiatives.
• When the Pharmacy Manager is absent, oversee scheduling of pharmacy associates, motivate and recognize performance, administer discipline if necessary, and assign duties to maximize team effectiveness while aligning with company goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License required
• Pennsylvania Immunization License preferred
