An established long-term care (LTC) and intellectual developmental disorder (IDD) pharmacy located near Hartford, CT, is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for a direct hire opportunity. This role offers a chance to work within a supportive environment focused on quality pharmaceutical care.

Location: Hartford, CT
Schedule:

  • 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (flexibility to work both shifts is required)
  • Potential for some Saturday shifts in the future

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform primarily PV2 duties including checking and verifying medications
  • Opportunity to train and advance to PV1 responsibilities contingent upon aptitude
  • Manage prescription volume efficiently and accurately through the Frameworks system

Desired Experience:

  • Prefer candidates with prior LTC pharmacy experience
  • Retail pharmacists with the ability to handle high prescription volume will also be considered
  • Must hold a valid Connecticut pharmacy license

Qualifications:

  • Active CT pharmacist license in hand
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Willingness to adapt to varying shift schedules and occasional weekend coverage
