Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Haxtun, Colorado

A retail pharmacy located in Haxtun, Colorado is seeking an experienced and responsible pharmacist for a per diem assignment from August 24th through August 28th. This position is ideal for candidates comfortable managing a pharmacy independently, as you will be the sole pharmacist on site during this period, supported by two full-time pharmacy technicians and occasional PRN pharmacist coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Provide thorough patient counseling to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions
• Perform final verifications on dispensed medications
• Manage daily pharmacy operations with full accountability
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility policies

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Colorado Pharmacist license
• Recent hands-on pharmacy experience
• Willingness to work independently without pharmacist backup
• Open to new graduates who meet licensing requirements

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch break
