Staff Pharmacist - Hayden, Idaho

A part-time retail staff pharmacist position is available on a contract-to-hire basis in Rathdrum, ID, offering a balance of professional responsibility and team collaboration in a lively pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while verifying prescriptions, counseling patients, and supervising pharmacy technicians.

Location: Rathdrum, ID
Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (Saturday shifts come with a Thursday or Friday off)
  Team Composition: 3 technicians, 2 pharmacists, 1 cashier
  System Used: Pioneer
  Prescription Volume: 300 – 400 prescriptions per day

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety and compliance
• Provide effective counseling to patients regarding medication use and safety
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations
• Emphasize exceptional customer service and collaboration with the pharmacy team

Qualifications:

• Experience working as a pharmacist in a retail setting
• Clear and active Idaho pharmacist license
• Updated resume, completed skills checklist, and available professional references
