Key Qualifications:
- Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution; PharmD preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
- Advise medical staff on drug therapy, side effects, dosages, and inventory management.
- Conduct medication use reviews; educate patients on proper drug use.
- Maintain pharmaceutical care quality, including adherence to HIPAA and state regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor patient progress and outcomes.
- Prepare guidelines on drug use and participate in budget and expenditure reporting.
- Mentor pharmacy, medical, and nursing students in practical and theoretical knowledge.
- Provide pharmaceutical consultation to long-term care facilities monthly.
- Participate in facility and community committees as needed.
