Staff Pharmacist | Helotes, Texas

A healthcare facility in Helotes, TX is seeking an experienced Lead Pharmacist to oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure the highest quality of patient care. The ideal candidate will bring expertise as a Staff Pharmacist and RX Pharmacist, demonstrating strong leadership skills to guide the pharmacy team effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead pharmacy staff to maintain efficient workflow and compliance with regulatory standards
• Manage medication dispensing and review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmacological treatments
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and documentation of all pharmaceuticals
• Address and resolve any patient or staff inquiries related to medication usage
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy laws, practices, and drug information

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Proven experience as a Staff Pharmacist or Lead Pharmacist
• Strong understanding of prescription processing and pharmacy operations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Valid pharmacist license required for practice in Texas
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Shift hours: 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm
