A reputable independent pharmacy is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join their team on a 13-week contract basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. The pharmacy’s mission centers on providing personalized, fast, and friendly service, with a commitment to placing patient health and wellness at the forefront. They specialize in compounding, medication management, and delivery services, emphasizing tailored healthcare solutions and fostering long-term patient relationships.

Location: Hendersonville, TN
Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (32-40 hours)
  • Possible every-other-Saturday shift, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (coverage may be available)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and in compliance with all laws and regulations
  • Provide expert counseling on medication therapy, side effects, and proper usage to patients and caregivers
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management
  • Maintain precise patient records and verify prescriptions for dosage and drug interactions
  • Uphold company values, lead by example, and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and adapt to evolving protocols and technologies

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Tennessee Pharmacist License
  • Experience with PioneerRX software preferred
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
