Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Henrietta, Texas

This position offers a unique opportunity for a Staff Pharmacist to provide medication management and support within a closed-door pharmacy located on the campus of a behavioral hospital. The role focuses primarily on serving inpatients and hospital staff, with minimal walk-in traffic, allowing for a more controlled and focused work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense and verify medications, processing 300-400 prescriptions daily
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in a behavioral hospital setting to ensure appropriate medication use
• Provide exceptional pharmaceutical care in alignment with hospital policies and safety standards
• Utilize Enterprise RX software for prescription processing and documentation (training provided)
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist licensure with recent practical experience
• Reside locally or work in a PRN or part-time capacity within the area
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the Enterprise RX software system
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Schedule and Location:

• Wichita, TX location with weekday hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Per diem/PRN position providing coverage during vacations and PTO, ideal for supplemental work
