Staff Pharmacist in Hialeah, FL

A dynamic compounding pharmacy specializing in hormone therapies is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to support its expanding operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both non-sterile and upcoming sterile compounding services within a growing pharmacy environment focused on GLP-1 medications and hormone replacement therapies.

Location: Doral, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP with training on 7/16 and coverage beginning 7/17
Job Type: Contract (PRN coverage)

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations through vigilant oversight
• Assist in operational workflows related to the launch of sterile compounding
• Review and update pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality standards
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Pharmacy Operations
• Provide on-site pharmacist coverage during regular operational hours
• Support a small, dedicated team during a crucial growth phase

Qualifications / Desired Experience

• Active Florida Pharmacist License (required)
• Compounding experience preferred (sterile or non-sterile), but retail background candidates with willingness to train will be considered
• Previous involvement in pharmacy start-up settings is a strong plus
• Ability to work independently and adapt within a rapidly evolving environment
