Staff Pharmacist | High Point, North Carolina

A specialty retail pharmacy in High Point, NC, is seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This position offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment focused on both sterile and non-sterile compounding, providing an excellent chance to further develop your expertise.

Schedule and Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• One-hour lunch break
• Duration: 13 weeks with potential for direct hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and manage prescriptions within a specialty retail setting
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding following strict safety and quality standards
• Utilize the PK order entry system (similar to QS1); training provided
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure excellent patient care and efficient workflow

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina pharmacy license is required
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience, preferably in retail or specialty settings
• Experience with sterile compounding is highly preferred
• Non-sterile compounding experience is advantageous
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and protocols
