Staff Pharmacist - High Point, North Carolina

A specialty retail pharmacy is seeking a Staff Pharmacist with experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding for a 13-week assignment with a chance for direct hire. This role offers a structured daytime schedule, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break, creating an ideal balance for personal and professional life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications, including sterile and non-sterile compounded products
• Utilize PK pharmacy software (similar to QS1); training provided
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Provide excellent patient education and consultation on medication therapies
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active North Carolina pharmacy license required
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience
• Experience in sterile and/or non-sterile compounding is highly desirable
• Ability to adapt to a specialty retail environment
• Comfortable using pharmacy order entry systems, with training offered
