Pharmacist - High Point, NC

A specialty retail pharmacy is seeking a qualified Staff Pharmacist for a contract opportunity based in High Point, NC. This role offers a focused environment involving both sterile and non-sterile compounding, providing hands-on experience in advanced pharmacy practices. The position is scheduled for weekday day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. The contract duration is 13 weeks, with the possibility of direct hire afterward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescriptions while maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations
• Manage both sterile and non-sterile compounding processes ensuring safety and quality standards
• Utilize and become proficient with the order entry system (PK), with training provided
• Maintain proper documentation and agreements as required for pharmacy operations
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient care and service

Desired Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina pharmacy license
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience
• Experience with sterile compounding is highly desirable
• Experience with non-sterile compounding is a plus
• Ability to adapt to specialty retail pharmacy workflows and standards
