Staff Pharmacist in High Point, NC

A Staff Pharmacist opportunity is available for a 13-week contract assignment with the potential for direct hire. This role is set in a specialty retail environment focused on both sterile and non-sterile compounding, providing a dynamic and rewarding pharmacy experience.

Location: High Point, NC
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications following established protocols
• Manage prescription order entry using PK software (training provided)
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and quality standards
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to sterile compounding best practices

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active North Carolina pharmacy license is required
• 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience in a retail or specialty setting
• Proficiency or experience in sterile compounding is highly preferred
• Experience with non-sterile compounding is a plus
• Ability to learn and adapt to new pharmacy order entry systems (PK training available)
