A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available to provide relief coverage at a 25-bed critical access hospital located on the Washington/Oregon border near Hillsboro, OR. This small-town setting offers a close-knit healthcare environment where your skills will directly impact patient care.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of recent hospital pharmacy experience, allowing for a smooth transition into the hospital’s operations and standards. Initial days will be dedicated to training and orientation to familiarize you with the team, workflow, and technology systems before providing ongoing coverage.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year current hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with pharmacy technicians during shifts

Schedule/Hours:

• Shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, tech coverage provided
• Coverage Dates:
  • July: 16, 17, 20, 23, 24, 30, 31
  • August: 6, 7, 14, 15, 20, 21, 24, 25
  • Fridays in September
• No on-call responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and manage pharmacy operations during shifts
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Utilize Cerner and Pyxis systems for order management and inventory control
