Retail Staff Pharmacist | Hines, Minnesota

A specialty pharmacy located in Bemidji, MN, is seeking a qualified pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis for approximately 13 weeks. This role involves providing comprehensive long-term care pharmacy services within a dynamic healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and dispense medications accurately in compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Perform long-term care pharmacy duties, including medication therapy management
• Ensure patient safety through thorough review of prescriptions and identification of potential drug interactions
• Provide immunizations and other patient care services as required
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Qualifications:

• PharmD degree required
• Immunization certification preferred
• CPR certification required
• Experience in retail or specialty pharmacy setting, specifically long-term care pharmacy
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and regulations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work some weekends along with Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. schedule
