A Per Diem Pharmacist opportunity is available in the specialty care setting in Hollidaysburg, PA. This role provides an excellent chance to apply your pharmacy expertise while delivering outstanding patient care and medication management.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8.5 hours per day)
- Total of 42.5 hours for the week
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare providers
- Provide detailed information and guidance to patients regarding their medications and usage
- Ensure exceptional customer service, addressing questions and concerns professionally and courteously
- Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory pharmacy requirements
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required
- Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Customer-focused with attention to detail and accuracy
