A healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to provide expert medication distribution and patient care support in a specialty pharmacy setting.

Location: Altoona, PA
Job Type: Per Diem
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, October 5-9, 2026
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (8.5 hours daily)
• Total: 42.5 hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately distribute medications prescribed by licensed health practitioners
• Offer detailed information to patients and customers about medication usage and safety
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring patient satisfaction and adherence to pharmacy standards

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in Pennsylvania
• Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care settings preferred
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient education
• Attention to detail and high level of professionalism
