Staff Pharmacist | Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a pharmacy department in a dynamic retail environment. The position involves close collaboration with the store operations team to drive associate engagement while ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations. You will play a key role in maintaining accuracy in prescription dispensing and promoting clinical programs that support business growth and patient care.

Responsibilities include overseeing all pharmacy activities such as drug utilization review, final quality assurance checks, inventory management, and aligning department objectives with key performance metrics. You will supervise pharmacy staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions, to build a high-performing team. Delivering excellent customer service by addressing medical inquiries and resolving customer concerns is essential to foster trust and loyalty. Additionally, you will work with healthcare providers and use reference materials to ensure patient safety and prescription accuracy.

Key Duties:

• Maintain collaborative relationships with store operations and pharmacy associates
• Ensure prescription accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Manage inventory and drive profitable script growth through clinical programs and immunizations
• Supervise and develop pharmacy personnel through training and coaching
• Resolve customer and physician inquiries effectively
• Organize and maintain pharmacy department cleanliness and order
• Prioritize department tasks including cycle counts, inventory control, and will-call fulfillment

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D degree
• Current pharmacist license for Pennsylvania
• Current Pennsylvania immunization license

• Variable day and afternoon shifts
