Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Hollywood, Florida

An opportunity is available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to support a concierge pharmacy known for delivering medications promptly to patients, primarily through courier service. This per diem position offers a hands-on role in a closed-door pharmacy environment with some medication pick-up possibility.

Location:

• Hollywood, FL

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform standard retail pharmacy tasks including prescription verification and dispensing
• Open and close the pharmacy ensuring regulatory compliance and operational readiness
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians and fellow pharmacists to maintain workflow efficiency
• Utilize Pioneer Rx software for daily pharmacy operations
• Provide excellent patient care by ensuring accurate, safe, and timely medication delivery

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Florida Pharmacist License required
• Proven retail pharmacy experience, preferably in closed-door or concierge pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software highly valued
• Strong organizational, communication, and supervisory skills
• Capability to work effectively within a supportive team structure including pharmacy technicians and other pharmacists

Additional Information:

• Position duration: Approximately 3-4 weeks starting March 27 through April 18
• Full-time support required during this period
• Auto offer available for qualified candidates
