Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Holyoke, Colorado

A retail pharmacy connected to a hospital requires a staff pharmacist for coverage from August 24th through August 28th in Holyoke, Colorado. This per diem role involves independently managing the pharmacy operations during the assignment. The pharmacy dispenses approximately 500 prescriptions weekly and is staffed by two full-time technicians and a rarely present PRN pharmacist, so you will be the sole pharmacist on duty.

Responsibilities:

• Counsel patients on medications and health concerns
• Fill and dispense prescriptions accurately
• Perform final verifications on medications
• Manage daily pharmacy operations as the primary pharmacist

Qualifications:

• Active, clear Colorado pharmacist license
• Recent pharmacist experience; new graduates welcome
• Comfortable working independently as the only pharmacist on site

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a one-hour lunch break

• Retail pharmacy in Holyoke, Colorado, associated with a hospital

Housing: Onsite housing may be available through the hospital based on availability. If unavailable, accommodations will be arranged at a nearby hotel.
