Per Diem Pharmacist in Homestead, FL

Provide expert pharmacy support in a fast-paced concierge pharmacy environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care. This position involves working in a primarily closed-door pharmacy dedicated to same or next-day medication delivery through courier services, with limited medication pickup options.

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including the dispensing and verification of prescriptions.
• Oversee pharmacy operations by opening and closing the pharmacy.
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians and fellow pharmacists to ensure smooth workflow.
• Utilize Pioneer Rx software efficiently to manage pharmacy tasks.
• Maintain compliance with all Florida state pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida pharmacist license required.
• Experience in retail or similar pharmacy settings preferred.
• Proficient with pharmacy management software, preferably Pioneer Rx.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team and manage daily pharmacy operations.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

This is a per diem role with a commitment from Friday, March 27 through Saturday, April 18, offering an opportunity to engage in a dynamic pharmacy setting with strong team support, including other pharmacists and a full technician staff.
