Inpatient Staff Pharmacist in Honaunau, HI

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist specializing in hospital inpatient care. This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist ready to travel and provide exceptional pharmaceutical services in a hospital inpatient setting. Candidates must hold a current Hawaii pharmacy license and bring solid experience working with EPIC systems and prior hospital pharmacy environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications to inpatients following hospital protocols and prescriptions
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records to manage medication orders and documentation
• Monitor patient medication use for safety, efficacy, and interactions
• Assist with inventory management and regulatory compliance within the pharmacy department

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Hawaii pharmacy license required
• Proven hospital inpatient pharmacy experience, including using EPIC electronic medical records
• Strong knowledge of medication dispensing regulations and hospital pharmacy procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
