Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Hopkins, MO

A Per Diem Pharmacist role is available for a retail pharmacy located in Hopkins, MO, covering the dates of 7/28 through 7/31. This position offers flexible scheduling with two shift options daily: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The pharmacy operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately check prescriptions to ensure patient safety.
• Verify medications and dosages according to pharmacy protocols.
• Provide thorough counseling to patients regarding their medication use.
• Support daily pharmacy operations in a setting with an average volume of over 200 prescriptions per day.
• Collaborate as the second pharmacist on duty with strong technician support to maintain workflow efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active Missouri pharmacist license is mandatory.
• Minimum of one year recent retail pharmacy experience required.
