A pharmacy position is available for a skilled Staff Pharmacist with a focus on long-term care services. This contract opportunity offers a mix of day and evening shifts, including rotating weekends, providing a flexible schedule within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive long-term care pharmacy duties including PV1 and PV2 tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Compound and verify both sterile and non-sterile medications such as IVs and TPNs, maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians to optimize workflow and maintain high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage multi-dose blister packing and other specialized packaging methods.
  • Utilize the Frameworks system for medication management; prior experience preferred but training is available.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies in daily operations.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Active and valid Michigan pharmacist license in good standing.
  • Proven long-term care pharmacy experience with hands-on knowledge of PV1 and PV2 duties.
  • Competency in sterile and non-sterile compounding, particularly IVs and TPN preparation.
  • Experience supervising pharmacy technicians is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with the Frameworks system is an advantage but not mandatory.

Location:

  • Hudsonville, Michigan.

Schedule:

  • Part-time with a rotating schedule of day and evening shifts.
  • Weekend rotation required.
