Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Humboldt, Iowa

A Per Diem outpatient pharmacist position is available, providing flexible coverage for specific shifts in a low-volume outpatient setting. This role involves prescription verification, patient counseling, and routine outpatient pharmacy responsibilities.

Location: Humboldt, IA
Job Type: Per Diem (PRN coverage)
Housing and mileage expenses will be passed through.

Schedule/Shift Coverage:

• June 12th: 8 AM – 5 PM
• June 18th-19th (no technician support): 8 AM – 5 PM
• July 17th: 1 PM – 5 PM
• July 31st: 8 AM – 5 PM

Compensation is offered at a competitive rate of $65-$67 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and dispense low-volume prescriptions (approximately 40 prescriptions per day)
• Provide thorough patient counseling and guidance on medication usage
• Perform standard outpatient pharmacy duties ensuring compliance with regulations and patient safety

Qualifications:

• Valid Iowa Pharmacist License is required
• Demonstrated experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings
