A full-time Staff Pharmacist opportunity is available in Idalia, CO, supporting a recently acquired independent pharmacy within a community hospital setting. This role offers the chance to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care across all age groups, from newborns to the elderly, in a dedicated retail pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pharmaceutical care and ensure accurate medication management for patients.
  • Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and billing clerks.
  • Monitor patient profiles to verify accuracy of drug allergies, interactions, and therapy.
  • Uphold pharmacy policies and quality control procedures, including controlled substance security and hazardous waste disposal.
  • Participate actively in programs such as 340B, antibiotic stewardship, and pharmacy and therapeutics committees.
  • Maintain professional development by engaging in continuing education and related activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active, clear Colorado pharmacy license with no negative history.
  • Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience.
  • Experience with 340B program and supervisory responsibilities preferred.
  • Willingness to relocate or remain in the area to support community pharmacy needs.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, day shift, 8 hours per day.
