Staff Pharmacist | Imperial, California

This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations at a hospital in Imperial County, CA. The assignment offers an immediate start with a 13-week contract that has the potential to transition into a permanent position.

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (four 10-hour shifts per week)
• Shared on-call responsibilities with the pharmacy team

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accuracy and compliance
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and assist with workflow management
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff for medication-related consultations
• Utilize pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient drug therapy
• Work within the Cerner electronic health record system

Desired Qualifications:

• Current CA pharmacist license
• Experience with inpatient pharmacy practice
• Ability to begin work immediately or with minimal delay
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
