Staff Pharmacist in Independence, MO

A pharmacist role is available for a motivated individual ready to contribute to quality patient care in a hospital setting. This contract position offers a schedule of 7 nights on, 7 nights off, with shifts from approximately 9 pm to 7 am.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervising pharmacy technicians during night shifts
• Performing pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
• Consulting with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient therapy
• Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and pharmacy regulations

Ideal candidates will hold an active Missouri pharmacist license and possess prior hospital pharmacy experience to effectively manage the demands of a night shift environment.
