Staff Pharmacist - Independence, MO

This opportunity is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to work nights in a hospital setting in Independence, MO. This contract assignment begins ASAP and runs for 13 weeks or longer, providing a chance to apply your hospital pharmacy skills in a supportive environment.

Work Schedule:

• Night shift: approximately 9 PM to 7 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians during the shift
• Provide pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Utilize Meditech and Pyxis systems daily

Qualifications:

• Current Missouri pharmacist license
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy preferred
• Strong communication and clinical skills
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
• Familiarity with electronic health records and medication dispensing technologies
