A new healthcare network with its first in-house pharmacy is seeking a skilled per diem pharmacist to support their retail pharmacy operations. This opportunity offers the chance to contribute to a growing pharmacy team within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), providing essential services to the community. The role involves working 1-2 days per week on a consistent, ongoing basis, ideal for pharmacists looking for flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely in a retail pharmacy setting
  • Counsel patients on the proper use of their medications and potential side effects
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies
  • Manage inventory and assist with pharmacy operations as needed
  • Document and maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy logs

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Valid pharmacy license to practice in the state of Indiana
  • Experience as a staff pharmacist within retail pharmacy environments
  • Strong knowledge of prescription medications and pharmacy law
  • Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism

Schedule:

  • Per diem role with 1-2 days per week, consistent ongoing schedule
