Assignment Length: 13 weeks with option to extend
Work Hours: 4x10-hour shifts per week — Second Shift 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Facility Overview
This is a 250-bed community hospital in Northern Indiana with a well-established inpatient pharmacy operation.

Responsibilities

-Verify and process medication orders accurately and efficiently
-Supervise and support pharmacy technician staff throughout the shift
-Consult with physicians and nurses on medication therapy and patient care needs
-Perform pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing adjustments for targeted medications
-Ensure safe medication dispensing and regulatory compliance throughout daily operations
-Provide clinical coverage across hospital units during scheduled shifts

Experience

-Some hospital pharmacy experience required
-Second shift experience a plus
-Pharmacokinetics experience preferred

Skills

-Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
-Effective communicator with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members
-Adaptable and reliable across a second shift schedule
-Comfortable integrating into an established hospital pharmacy team quickly

Qualifications

-Active Indiana Pharmacist License required

Education

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
