Soliant has an opening for a Staff Pharmacist at a long-term acute care hospital just outside of Indianapolis, Indiana for an 8 to 13 week assignment. Employment Type: Local Contract or Travel Contract
Work Hours: Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with occasional need to stay later | On call and weekend coverage shared with Pharmacy Manager | 40 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pharmacy services across a 25 bed long-term acute care hospital
- Verify and process medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Perform IV compounding in compliance with USP 797 standards
- Oversee and collaborate with pharmacy technician staff throughout the shift
- Share on call and weekend coverage responsibilities with the Pharmacy Manager
- Utilize HCS ePharmacy pharmacy information system and Omnicell automation for daily operations
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain the highest standards of patient safety
Experience
- Hospital pharmacy experience required
- IV compounding experience required
- Long-term acute care experience a plus
- Experience with smaller or independent pharmacy operations preferred
Skills
- Comfortable working independently in a small pharmacy team environment
- Strong IV compounding skills and attention to detail
- Reliable and flexible with on call and occasional extended shift needs
- Effective communicator with clinical and nursing staff
Qualifications
- Active Indiana Pharmacist License required
- Proficiency in HCS ePharmacy and Omnicell preferred

Education
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
