Staff Pharmacist - Interlochen, Michigan

A retail pharmacy is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to manage daily operations and provide exceptional care to patients. This contract position offers the chance for direct hire based on performance and fit.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions following pharmacy laws and regulations
• Conduct patient consultations, monitoring for potential drug interactions or allergies
• Manage inventory and maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment
• Process orders efficiently using the RX 30 system
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with Michigan pharmacy guidelines

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan pharmacy license
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with RX 30 pharmacy software is a plus; willingness to train available
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Dayshift schedule within a retail pharmacy setting
