Staff Pharmacist | Inyokern, California

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available in a community hospital setting located near Inyokern, CA. This contract-to-hire position involves working at an approximately 80-bed hospital, a few hours from the Los Angeles area. The hospital uses Paragon for its IT systems, and the role focuses on inpatient pharmacy staffing duties.

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Variable afternoon or day shifts
• Potential for a 7 days on, 7 days off day-shift schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient pharmacy services to support hospital operations
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate medication distribution and management
• May be required to participate in on-call duties on the days worked
• Utilize the Paragon system for pharmacy operations (experience preferred but not mandatory)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacist license
• Current inpatient pharmacy experience is essential
• Familiarity with Paragon system highly desirable
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently within a hospital setting
