A growing pharmacy in Arlington, TX, specializing in AIDS/HIV care, is seeking experienced pharmacists for per diem coverage. This role offers the opportunity to work in a specialized community health environment, providing essential pharmaceutical care while supporting patients with respect and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify prescriptions and supervise pharmacy technicians.
  • Conduct patient consultations to ensure proper medication use.
  • Maintain a respectful and non-judgmental approach to patient care in a specialty pharmacy setting.
  • Utilize QS1 pharmacy software (experience preferred; training available).
  • Participate in scheduled shifts with flexible dates.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Texas pharmacist license.
  • Minimum of 1-year retail pharmacy experience.
  • Familiarity with QS1 software is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workflow in a busy retail environment.
  • Sensitivity and respect when working with AIDS/HIV patient populations.

Location:

  • Arlington, TX

Schedule:

  • Per diem shifts on various dates, including Fridays and weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Specific dates include late June through early August.
  • Training can be arranged ahead of assignments to ensure readiness.
