Staff Pharmacist - Irwin, PA

A part-time staff pharmacist position is available in a retail pharmacy setting located in Irwin, PA. This role offers 20-24 hours per week with additional vacation coverage responsibilities, primarily during weekday shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescriptions, averaging around 300 per day.
• Provide excellent patient counseling and medication therapy management.
• Manage inventory and maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize the Pioneer Rx system to process prescriptions and maintain patient records.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with retail pharmacy experience.
• Proficient with or previous experience using Pioneer Rx software is a strong plus.
• Ability to thrive during peak business hours, especially 9am-11am and 4pm-6pm.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, pharmacy open 9am to 6pm.
• Available to work shifts from 9am to 3pm or 11am to 6pm.
• Closed Saturdays and Sundays.
• Flexibility to cover vacation shifts when needed.
