An outpatient infusion pharmacist role is available at a leading hospital’s ambulatory division, supporting oncology and infusion patients through precise medication management.
Location: Arvada, CO (Local candidates preferred)
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Start Date: September 28
Responsibilities:
- Review, dispense, and verify hazardous and non-hazardous medication orders for infusion and oncology patients
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication use
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocols using EPIC EMR system
- Support outpatient pharmacy services in the ambulatory care setting
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in infusion pharmacy; chemotherapy experience is a strong plus
- IV certification required
- Valid and current Colorado pharmacist license in good standing
- Familiarity with hospital inpatient pharmacy and ambulatory infusion practices
- Proficient in EPIC EMR or similar electronic health record systems
