An outpatient infusion pharmacist role is available at a leading hospital’s ambulatory division, supporting oncology and infusion patients through precise medication management.

Location: Arvada, CO (Local candidates preferred)
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Start Date: September 28

Responsibilities:

  • Review, dispense, and verify hazardous and non-hazardous medication orders for infusion and oncology patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication use
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocols using EPIC EMR system
  • Support outpatient pharmacy services in the ambulatory care setting

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in infusion pharmacy; chemotherapy experience is a strong plus
  • IV certification required
  • Valid and current Colorado pharmacist license in good standing
  • Familiarity with hospital inpatient pharmacy and ambulatory infusion practices
  • Proficient in EPIC EMR or similar electronic health record systems

This role is ideal for pharmacists with a strong background in infusion and oncology medication handling who want to work in a dynamic hospital outpatient environment. The position requires local candidates to hold a CO license and be ready to start on September 28 for a 13-week contract.
